All Company performances/events listed below are all mandatory

Dance Davidson's Winter Show 2024

Sunday, November 24, 2024 - shows are 2:00 & 6:00 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024 - mandatory dress rehearsal - 6:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Davidson College Holiday Gala

Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 - 2 shows, 5:30 & 8:00 p.m.

Mandatory dress rehearsal Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024

Christmas in Davidson

Dates and times TBA, but we will perform either Fri. Dec. 6 or Sat. Dec. 7, 2024. 

We will perform ONE of these evenings.

​UNCSA Winter Dance Festival 2025

Feb. 21-23.  Festival tuition is $225 per student

​

Dance Davidson's Spring Show 2025

​​Performance dates TBA.  We are just waiting for Davidson College for our dates.

​

All Company A & B dancers will perform in the Dance Davidson Winter and Spring shows & are required to attend the UNCSA Festival.

All Company A dancers will perform in/attend all events listed above.

Company B company dancers may or may not perform in other performances listed above.

Apprentices MAY or MAY NOT perform in the above performance, but are required to attend the UNCSA Festival.

 

 

Ballet Company

• Ballet Company Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, 1:00-2:30. There is a $55.00 audition fee.
• Ballet Company members must take 3 ballet and 3 pointe/pre-pointe classes during the week in addition to the company class/rehearsals on Saturdays.  (Ballet Co. A & B will meet sometime between 1:15-4:15).  Apprentices must do the same but will only take 1 or 2 pointe/pre-pointe classes instead of 3.
• A missed class must be made up within two weeks.
• Company class/rehearsals begin Saturday, September 7, 2024.
• Soloists and demi-soloists may have weekly and/or Sunday rehearsals.
• Members and apprentices are to check the bulletin board each time they are at the studio to find out when their rehearsals are scheduled for the week. Changes may occur during the week.
• When missing rehearsals when choreography is taught, members and apprentices must ask Ariana Conway -  company choreographer for the video of that rehearsal to learn what they missed. Missed choreography must be learned (via video) thoroughly BEFORE the next rehearsal. 
• Apprentices and company members may only miss 2 excused rehearsals per semester.
• We will have Saturday rehearsals every Saturday except Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving, Winter Break and Spring Break.
• A ballet company monthly fee of $55.00 will be added to your account on September 1, 2024.

 

Contemporary Company

• Contemporary Company Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, 3:00-4:00. There is a $55.00 audition fee.
• Contemporary company members and apprentices must take 1 Contemporary class and 2 ballet classes during the week in addition to the company class/rehearsals each Saturday (between 12:00-2:00).
• Soloists and demi-soloists may have week day and/or Sunday rehearsals.
• A missed class must be made up within two weeks.
• Company class/rehearsals begin on Sept. 7, 2024.
• Members and apprentices are to check the bulletin board each time they are at the studio to find out when their rehearsals are scheduled for the week. Changes may occur during the week.
• When missing rehearsals when choreography is taught, members and apprentices must ask Sarah Swanson -  company choreographer for the video of that rehearsal to learn what they missed. Missed choreography must be learned (via video) thoroughly BEFORE the next rehearsal. ​
• Apprentices and Company members may only miss 2 excused rehearsals per semester.
• We will have rehearsals every week except during Thanksgiving break, Winter Break and Spring Break.
• A Contemporary company monthly fee of $55.00 will be added to your account on September 1, 2024.

 

• Jazz Company Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, 4:15-5:15. There is a $55.00 audition fee.
• Jazz Company members and apprentices must take 1 jazz class and 2 ballet classes during the week in addition to the weekly Saturday company class/rehearsals.  (Jazz Company A  meets on Tuesdays 5:30-6:30 & Jazz Company B meets Tuesdays 6:30-7:30).
• A missed class must be made up within two weeks.
• Company class/rehearsals begin Tuesday,  September 3, 2024.
• Members and apprentices are to check the bulletin board each time they are at the studio to find out when their rehearsals are scheduled for the week. Changes may occur during the week.
• When missing rehearsals when choreography is taught, members and apprentices must ask Grace Hildebrand -  company choreographer for the video of that rehearsal to learn what they missed. Missed choreography must be learned (via video) thoroughly BEFORE the next rehearsal. 
• Apprentices and company members may only miss 2 excused rehearsals per semester.
• We will have Saturday rehearsals every week except Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving break, Winter Break and Spring Break.
• A Jazz company monthly fee of $55.00 will be added to your account on September 1, 2024.

• Tap Company Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, 5:30-6:30. There is a $50.00 audition fee.
• Tap company members and apprentices must take 1 tap class and 2 ballet classes during the week in addition to the company class/rehearsals on Fridays, Tap Company A & B meet between 4:45-8:45. 
• A missed class must be made up within two weeks.
• Company class/rehearsals begin Friday, September 6, 2024.
• Members and apprentices are to check the bulletin board each time they are at the studio to find out when their rehearsals are scheduled for the week. Changes may occur during the week.
• When missing rehearsals when choreography is taught, members and apprentices must ask Pam Janas -  company choreographer for the video of that rehearsal to learn what they missed. Missed choreography must be learned (via video) thoroughly BEFORE the next rehearsal. 
• Apprentices and company members may only miss 2 excused rehearsals per semester.
• We will have rehearsals every Friday except except Labor Day weekend, Thanksgiving break, Winter Break and Spring Break.
• A Tap Company monthly fee of $55.00 will be added to your account beginning September 1, 2024.
